About

Many things happen around here, and not all of them belong in the same blog. String goes in one place; science and writing in another.

  1. Sarah, if you can make it and are feeling up to it, learn more about Lynch syndrome at the Lynch Syndrome International Conference and Family Reunion in Florida. The world experts will be present and the agenda rocks! Also rocking is the band that night, following dinner! CME credits for docs and nurses and those with Lynch syndrome or at high risk are encouraged to attend, with their families. We are building bridges, not walls! For more info and to register by June 11th, visit http://www.lynchcancers.org and click on the link! Linda

  2. Sarah,
I stumbled on your website when looking at SFWA website. I read some of your most current posts, and I had no idea who’ve gone through so much in the last couple of years. You were so vibrant and helpful at Viable Paradise. I honestly had to re-read a couple of posts, thinking to myself: Do I have the wrong Sarah? Thank you for giving so much of yourself to us when you’ve been recovering from a major medical situation. Thank you for your wisdom. And I’m very thankful I got to play the frog and later my grasshopper with you during evening music. I hope this gets posted to you. I couldn’t figure out how to comment at the bottom of your posts.

Giselle, yes, you’ve found the right Sarah, and thank you. VP this year was a major effort for me, but so very worth it. Such a treat to share in the enthusiasm, and the music.

If you ever want to leave a comment on a specific post, if you open just that post by clicking on the title, there’s a comment form at the bottom. The older ones might be locked, though.

Hi Sarah, it’s lovely to meet you at the Nebulas! And thank you so much for your sharing and advice in the mentor programme. I couldn’t find your private email address from the website. Neither do I think it appropriate to drop you an email to your work mail box (it ends with gov!) So I’m leaving a comment here to say thank you! I have come back to China and still miss the US trip a lot. Wish to see you again in the future!
